Mombacho Volcano Night Tour

This Mombacho Volcano Night Tour begins at 4:00 pm. We will pick you up directly from your lodging and drive approximately 30 minutes to reach the base of the volcano. From there, the adventure continues with an additional 15-minute drive ascending to 700 meters above sea level. At this scenic altitude, you will witness a spectacular sunset as the sky transforms into vibrant shades of orange, pink, and purple. During this relaxing moment, you can enjoy a delicious cup of locally grown Nicaraguan coffee while breathing in the fresh mountain air and preparing for the nighttime adventure ahead.

At 6:30 pm, the real exploration begins. We will start walking along the cloud forest trails located at this elevation. This first guided hike lasts more than one hour, allowing you to immerse yourself in the sounds and atmosphere of the forest as daylight slowly disappears. After completing the first hike, a 4×4 pickup truck will take us deeper into the reserve, climbing to 1,150 meters above sea level.
