Day 1 - Managua’s Airport – To León – Cathedral Tour

Your adventure begins upon arrival at Managua’s International Airport, where you’ll be welcomed and transferred to the vibrant colonial city of León. After settling in, explore the heart of León with a guided visit to its historic cathedral, the largest in Central America and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Climb to the rooftop for sweeping views of the city and surrounding volcanoes, just in time to witness a breathtaking sunset painting the horizon.

Day 2 - Free Morning – Cerro Negro Volcano Boarding Tour

Enjoy a relaxed morning in León, perfect for strolling through the markets, savoring local coffee, or simply soaking in the colonial atmosphere. At 2:00 PM in the afternoon, prepare for an unforgettable adventure: Cerro Negro located 50 minutes from León, one of the youngest and most active volcanoes in Central America. Hike its dark volcanic slopes for about 1 hour, then feel the thrill of volcano boarding as you slide down its black sands. The experience ends with a golden sunset over the volcanic range — a memory to last a lifetime.

Day 3 - To Somoto – Somoto Canyon Tour

After breakfast, head north for about 4 hours to Somoto, where nature reveals one of Nicaragua’s most stunning hidden treasures: the Somoto Canyon. Carved by the Coco River over millions of years, this dramatic gorge offers crystal-clear waters, towering rock walls, and serene natural pools. Swim, float, and hike through this natural wonder, surrounded by untouched beauty in our 4 hours tour.. In the evening, enjoy a cozy overnight stay at Cabañas Gabriela, where tranquility and starlit skies complete the experience.

Day 4 - To Peñas Blancas Massif – Arcoiris Waterfall – Swimming in Natural Pond

Today at 7:00 AM, you will journey for 4 hours into the lush highlands of the Peñas Blancas Massif, a paradise of cloud forests, exotic birds, and cascading waterfalls. Lunch will be served at El CEN and at 1:00 PM, hike through verdant trails until you reach the spectacular Arcoiris Waterfall, a veil of water tumbling into a crystalline pond below. Once we are done with the hiking, take a refreshing swim surrounded by pristine wilderness and enjoy the peace of one of Nicaragua’s most magical natural corners.

Day 5 - To Granada – Granada City Tour

At 8:00 AM, we will travel south for 5 hours to the enchanting city of Granada, Nicaragua’s colonial gem nestled along the shores of Lake Nicaragua. In the afternoon, embark on a guided city tour through cobblestone streets lined with colorful houses, historic churches, and lively plazas. Discover the charm of this 16th-century city and its rich cultural heritage, with moments to pause for local treats and stunning photo opportunities at every turn.

Day 6 - Free Morning – Isletas Boat Tour

The morning is yours to relax, perhaps with a leisurely breakfast or a stroll through Granada’s artisan markets. Later, at 3:45 PM, set off on a tranquil boat tour of Las Isletas, an archipelago of lush islets scattered across Lake Nicaragua. Day Tour to Ometepe Island

Day 7 - Day Tour to Ometepe Island

Rise early at 5:00 AM for a 1.5-hour journey to the San Jorge Port and then across Lake Nicaragua to the legendary Ometepe Island, formed by the towering Concepción and Maderas volcanoes. This island paradise offers a mix of lush landscapes, archaeological sites, and rural charm. Once on the island, we will have a delicious breakfast (not included) and right away, we will start to explore its tranquil villages and scenic viewpoints while surrounded by breathtaking volcanic backdrops. After a full day of discovery and adventure, we will return by ferry to the mainland and then back to Granada for a restful evening.

Day 8 - Free Morning – Pottery Workshop – Catarina Lookout – Masaya Volcano at Night

Take the morning at your own pace to enjoy Granada’s cafes, markets, or simply relax at your hotel. In the afternoon at 1:00 PM, we will discover Nicaragua’s artistic heritage with a hands-on pottery workshop, where local artisans share centuries-old techniques. Then, we will continue to Catarina Lookout for sweeping views of Apoyo Lagoon and Mombacho Volcano, an ideal spot for photos. As the day fades, head to Masaya Volcano National Park for a magical night tour — where you can peer into the glowing crater of the active Santiago vent, a fiery spectacle few ever forget.

Day 9 - Relaxation Day in Apoyo Lagoon

Today is all about serenity and nature. Journey 40 minutes to the Apoyo Lagoon, a volcanic crater lake with crystal-clear, mineral-rich waters perfect for swimming, kayaking, or simply floating under the sun. Surrounded by green forested slopes and echoing birdsong, the lagoon is the ultimate place to relax, recharge, and reflect on your journey before your last day.

Day 10 - To Managua’s International Airport

After breakfast, it’s time to say farewell to Granada and transfer to Managua’s International Airport for your departure flight. As you leave, carry with you the warmth of Nicaragua’s people, the colors of its cities, the thrill of its volcanoes, and the peaceful beauty of its natural wonders.
